A Commitment Rooted in the Mediterranean

Through its various stopovers, the Blue Panda works on initiatives focused on the protection of large cetaceans, the fight against ghost fishing nets, the reduction of marine pollution, and the development of marine protected areas. These missions contribute to a better understanding of the impact of human activities on marine biodiversity, while promoting concrete solutions to help preserve these fragile ecosystems.

Whales, Dolphins & Collision Prevention

The vessel supports the monitoring of whales and dolphins in the Mediterranean and contributes to the testing of systems designed to reduce collisions between ships and cetaceans. During each stopover, the Blue Panda welcomes scientists, partners, and visitors on board to share knowledge, experiences, and initiatives dedicated to the protection of Mediterranean marine biodiversity.
